Our journey began with identifying and addressing challenges within the tea industry, focusing on the underappreciated Hong Kong Milk Tea. Despite its rich history and elegance, this iconic beverage has struggled to reach a global audience, often confined to traditional HK diners with outdated environments and limited appeal to younger generations. We sought to modernize this experience by incorporating a master tea maker's 50-year-old secret recipe into our signature product.

The Art of Silk.

Today, Silk uses a secret local recipe that has been continuously developed for over 50 years. This initiative aims to preserve and celebrate Hong Kong Milk Tea’s legacy while making it accessible and appealing worldwide. The overwhelming demand for "Smooth King" overseas revealed a global appetite for this universal and high-quality beverage, underscoring our mission to bring Hong Kong Milk Tea to the world stage and ensure it remains a cherished tradition for generations to come. As the world evolves and people come to recognize its taste, they think Silk. It becomes the original taste of Silk
